During his visit Prof. Kerma carried out the following activities:
Direct and indirect teaching activities: These activities included lectures, seminars, consultations, and helping test students' knowledge through mid-term exams and evaluating student project and seminar assignments within the Tourism Regions of the World subject of the Tourism and Environmental Protection study program. Prof. Kerma also participated in conducting fieldwork for 3rd-year students of the same study program. Within the framework of his pedagogical activities, he also participated in monitoring the mentors of the final theses at the 1st and 2nd level of study.
Project activities: During his stay at the Department, several discussions were held about possible cooperation on future scientific research projects between the two countries.
Scientific research activity: Prof. Kerma wrote parts of the chapters in the scientific monograph entitled "Comparative analysis of the sustainable development of tourism in the protected areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia". He also reached agreements on writing joint scientific research papers and participating in scientific meetings organized by the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Sarajevo and UP FTŠ Turistica. In addition, he carried out detailed field observations of protected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other relevant research, which is essential for his scientific research work.
